Well, THAT pretty much says it all...
You may wonder why I feel like this about IE...well.
It's a crappy program. I loaded the
newest version with the enhanced desktop and all,
now my sys freezes up when I run it!
IE won't load half the websites that Netscape
will, and is slower than constipation,
plus the fact that I can't remove it from
my computer really pisses me off!
Also~
[This might interest you folks who are new or
never thought about it before...]
When you load up Windows...or you play with it
for the first time.
A little Icon comes on your cesktop that says
'Internet'
Now, you go "Oboy!" click on it and after
answering some questions,
end up on the net..using IE3 or 2..
"So?" You ask.
Well, Henry Ford [Built
the first mass-production car???]
sold his cars under the same policies...You could
have any color you wanted as long as it was BLACK!
IE4 is out but guess what?!?! They still
load the older, out-of-date versions
on new comps...EXAMPLE; Got my sys 2 years ago,
had IE3.something on it...
My folks bought a GATEWAY sys less than a year
ago...has IE2.something...
and they spent 3X as much as my sys costs!
[Kinda makes you wonder about Gateway too...
Yesss....they DID send a new keyboard right away
under their warranty, but...
[well, that's for another page....~G~]
And I'm not alone...
I ran multiple searches on both IE and Netscape.
IE won the suck category by 2 to 1..

Glad I kept a zipped copy of Netscape 4.0...
guess the idea of using LINUX is getting better
and better!
Oh, yeah... AOL won in the SUCK category
by something like 400 to 1!
